The AirPatrol Crew is actively looking for designers to create a controller casing for the latest model of the AirPatrol heater and air conditioning control device. They’re ready to reward up to five designers for their efforts, with a cool $750 going to the top case design…
AirPatrol controllers are small, box shaped devices that are connected to the owner’s home heating and cooling systems. Users can easily adjust the temperature of their home by using the AirPatrol app from their mobile devices, but this time they’re looking to the creative community to develop the exterior of the newest controller box.
Some of the specific “must have’s” for the final version of the AirPatrol controller box include it being white, made of plastic, “eye-catching,” complementary to the AirPatrol brand and easily manufactured. If you’re interested in this contest, do yourself a favor and research AirPatrol’s clean and crisp white product line for inspiration. Air Patrol intends to reward the top five designers with a respective $750, $500, $350, $200 and $150, as well as a stylish GrabCAD bottle and t-shirt combo. Not only do you have a chance to win some cash and swag, but having your design picked up by AirPatrol would be an awesome bragging right and stepping stone for any inventor’s career.
